Better Balance Counselling comprises of a team of dedicated counsellors and professionals, all of whom have chosen to be involved with counselling as a means of making a positive different to people’s lives. Each of our team members brings their unassuming empathy, positive regard and willingness to listen to the table, so that we can offer our clients the most effective counselling experience.
We provide sessions in Marsfield (and home visits in certain circumstances) and operate by appointment only. Our session times include some after hours/weekend appointments, depending on availability.
We also offer online counselling if you live outside of the area, or cannot physically make an appointment for some reason. These sessions need to be pre-arranged.
Sometimes our clients require more specialised care, or specific assistance than we can offer. In that case, we have a number of reputable referral partners whom we will refer our clients to, ensuring that they receive the best care available for them.
We pride ourselves on delivering only the best standard to our clients and will not settle for anything less. Part of our responsibility as counsellors is to continually build on our professional development so that we can offer our client’s the most tried and proven interventions used within the counselling community.
As required by the counselling Ethics Code, all our counsellors participate in regular supervision with professional supervisors to ensure that the best course of action is being offered to all of our clients, and to gain insight and advice as required.
